Copper Cable or Aluminum Cable: Which Should I Buy?
Buyers compare copper and aluminum cable by conductivity, weight, cost, connection method and project requirement.
Copper cable is commonly selected for compact design, higher conductivity and stable connection performance. Aluminum cable can reduce weight and cost in some power distribution projects.
When comparing copper cable and aluminum cable, consider conductor cross section, termination method, installation space, mechanical strength and long-term maintenance.
If the project specification already requires copper conductor or aluminum conductor, the quotation should follow that requirement.
